FinTech – Sales Development Representative

My client are on the hunt for a tenacious and charismatic Sales Development Representative to play a critical role in the growth of their client base. You will be the voice of the company, prospecting and building the sales pipeline, introducing my clients offering and explaining the business value the platform brings.

Role of the FinTech Sales Development Representative:

  • Creatively and strategically planning and executing prospecting campaigns to generate leads in well-identified target markets, identifying the key decision makers and determining how the platform can solve their challenges.
  • Understanding and delivering the value proposition for a wide range of industries, personas and pain points, you’ll articulate the value proposition and generate interest, converting outbound leads into qualified meetings.
  • Tracking and maintaining data in my clients CRM (Hubspot), using reporting to show number of calls made, emails sent and leads qualified along with conversion rates across deal stages.
  • Conducting research using varied and creative techniques to identify opportunities and generate new leads and sharing ideas and best practices with the team to contribute to my client’s growth.

The ideal FinTech Sales Development Representative will be:

  • Confident in organising and prioritising your workload independently, with a proven creative problem-solving approach. You’ll have strong analytical skills and be able to track and measure data and act on the results.
  • Outstanding in your listening, negotiation, and persuasive abilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills via phone, email, LinkedIn etc.
  • A hustler with a ‘get it done’ attitude and a start-up mindset, keen to learn and grow with the business, consistently striving to become better as a team and as an individual, through shared learning.
  • Tech savvy and confident using tools such as Hubspot, LinkedIn SalesNavigator, etc

The Ideal candidate will have:

  • 6-12 months experience in B2B SaaS Sales
  • A keen interest in BNPL and FinTech
  • Experience in a start-up environment (desired but not essential)
  • Strong business acumen
